Our Story

Founded in 2020, we are a Community Benefit Society. Our aim is to enable community owned renewable energy on the Isle of Arran. We started as a steering group working together as volunteers with the charity Arran Eco Savvy.

Glenkiln Solar

Arran Community Renewables have a new project proposal. We have been working together with many different local businesses and land owners, to find a great project to locate Arran’s first community owned solar farm.
